ArbitrationIntel — Case Study

The law firm marketing case study behind 641 leads in seven months.

In 2025, Tim Ottowitz joined Bennett Legal — a Texas plaintiff firm that takes on solar-panel fraud, commercial trucking, wrongful death, and high-stakes arbitration — as CTO, and rebuilt the marketing operation from the team up. This is what changed, and what it produced.

I. The Firm

A firm that beats corporations for a living.

Bennett Legal fights the cases most firms won't take on — solar-panel fraud, commercial trucking, wrongful death, and high-stakes arbitration against corporations with every incentive to outlast a claimant. In 2025 alone, the firm recovered $35M+ in verdicts, arbitration awards, and settlements. Its tagline says the rest: "We beat corporations. You shouldn't have to fight alone."

By early 2025, the firm's marketing wasn't matching the work in the courtroom. That's what changed next.

II. The Rebuild

Four things changed. Everything else followed.

Tim didn't add a marketing hire on top of what existed. He replaced the operation — team, engine, funnel, and market — one layer at a time.

I

Team

Replaced a conservative, non-AI marketing lead with one trained at an agency with a strong copywriting background, and hired a dedicated video editor for content. The legacy marketing firm — low output, mediocre work — came in-house as a real team.

II

Engine

Onboarded a new SEO firm built around programmatic, entity-graph-based GEO SEO, and rebuilt bennettlegal.com end to end — the platform the content library now runs on.

III

Funnel

Built a full lead pipeline with the team, including a detailed intake workflow from first contact through a signed case — so traffic had somewhere real to go.

IV

New Market

Established the firm in a brand-new case type from scratch, and grew Google Business Profile reviews from 14 to 34 — up 143% — while doing it.

III. The Results

Seven months. One new case type. Six hundred forty-one leads.

641

Leads in the first seven months of taking the new case type to market.

210

Articles published across 18 pages — the content library doing the ranking.

+143%

Growth in Google Business Profile reviews — 14 to 34.

$35M+

Verdicts, arbitration awards, and settlements recovered by the firm in 2025.

The 210-article library isn't a cost center — it's an appreciating asset. Older posts keep ranking and compounding, so cost-per-lead trends down as lead volume trends up. The clearest proof it's a system now, not a person: pages the firm's own CEO wrote by hand are among the best performers in the library. The machine sustains itself.

IV. Independent Growth Assessment

What Claude found after scraping bennettlegal.com.

Before we told this story, we ran the same automated growth audit we'd run on any firm's site — no prompting toward Bennett Legal, no thumb on the scale. Here is what an outside model found, unprompted.

i

"210 articles across 18 pages, actively publishing through June and July 2026 — a compounding content library, not a brochure site."

ii

"Entity-dense topical authority in solar-panel fraud — GoodLeap, Sunlight Financial, UCC-1 liens, probate, permit fraud. Textbook entity-graph SEO; search engines now read this firm as a solar-fraud authority."

iii

"Question-led, long-tail, dollar-specific headlines — 'Sunlight Financial Cancels $113K Solar Loan.' Engineered for high-intent capture and for AI and featured-snippet answers."

iv

"A full funnel: a fast, modern site, a three-step solar-fraud intake workflow, and 24/7 intake. Traffic converts here — it doesn't just rank."

v

"Verdict: marketing has become a product at this firm. The compounding library means acquisition cost falls as lead volume rises — the rare firm whose growth engine keeps paying forward."
